Privacy.
What you share.
Launch signups save your email address, the date you joined, and your consent to receive Patrick Foundry product and app updates. We use this list for those updates. We do not sell your information.
Contact messages save your name, email, message, and submission date so Patrick Foundry can respond. Community responses save the name you choose to provide, your response, and whether you permit publication. Responses remain private unless you give permission.
Bid Alerts.
A Bid Alerts trial signup saves your email, name, company, optional phone number, and the trades, districts and counties you pick, so we can send your daily email. If you subscribe, PayPal processes the payment; we store the subscription ID, plan, status and the email it is matched to. We never see or store your card details.
AI consulting: Gap Map and waitlist.
What the Gap Map form collects. Your business name, your name, email, phone, revenue range (if given), your answers to the questions, the report you chose, your agreement to our terms (with the date and terms version), and payment status. To limit spam we also store your browser type, the country your connection comes from, and a one-way hash derived from your IP address.
Where it goes.
- Our website database, run on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Workers and D1), which hosts our site and stores the submission.
- Email: your answers are included in a notification email to us, and a confirmation email goes to you, sent through our email host, Dynadot, and stored in our Dynadot-hosted mailbox. We keep a log of each email sent (recipient, subject and delivery status).
- Stripe processes your payment. We send Stripe your email, the report you chose and an internal reference number, not your answers. We store the Stripe checkout ID, the amount and whether it was paid. We never see or store your card number.
- AI tools. Every Gap Map is AI analyzed and reviewed by a person before delivering. To do that, your answers are processed by AI assistant services we use to help analyze them and draft the report. Popular choices include OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini) and xAI (Grok); we are not limited to these providers and choose per task. We don’t use your answers to build marketing lists or sell them.
Each of these companies processes your information to provide its service to us, under its own terms and privacy policy. Storing information on our own website doesn’t mean no one else processes it.
The package waitlist saves your name, email, phone, business name and the package you picked (and, if you tell us, whether you bought a Gap Map), so we can reach out when a spot opens. It’s stored and emailed the same way.
If you become a client. Account access, project records and any business information you share during a project are covered by your written agreement, which explains access, retention and deletion.
Sensitive information. Please don’t send passwords, sign-in codes, full card or bank numbers, Social Security numbers, health information, payroll figures, or employee or customer personal records through the form or by email. We’ll never ask for them that way. Workflows involving health records, payroll, payments or hiring need a separate suitability and compliance review.
How long we keep it. We keep your Gap Map answers and report for 24 months, then delete them. We keep payment and contract records for 5 years for tax purposes. You can ask us to delete your answers sooner at any time. We keep waitlist entries for 24 months after you join, then delete them. When you ask us to delete your information (see Your choices), we’ll do it within 30 days, except payment and contract records we’re required to keep.
Who can read it.
Submissions aren’t shown publicly. Inside Patrick Foundry, access is limited to the people and tools that prepare your report and reply to you. The service providers listed above can process information as needed to run their services.
Website activity.
We count page visits and clicks on product and channel links by day. These totals do not contain names, email addresses, browsing histories, or tracking cookies. This measurement respects your browser’s Do Not Track setting. Counts are activity totals, not unique visitor counts.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also counts page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies. Details are in our cookie policy.
To limit form spam, the site temporarily stores a one-way hash derived from a request’s IP address for about one hour. The hosting provider may process technical request logs to deliver and protect the site.
Your choices.
Joining the launch list is optional. Email updates include an unsubscribe link. Following the link opens a confirmation page; confirming stops future product and launch updates. You can also request removal, deletion, or ask about your information by emailing hello@patrickfoundry.com (or bids@patrickfoundry.com for Bid Alerts) with the address you used. Requests sent by email are handled manually.
Email delivery.
The website stores a subscription status and a private unsubscribe token. Our emails (welcome emails, form confirmations and private notifications to Patrick Foundry) are sent by our website’s own server code on Cloudflare, through our email host, Dynadot, from @patrickfoundry.com mailboxes. Cloudflare and Dynadot process recipient addresses and the email content needed to deliver those messages, and we keep a log of each send (recipient, subject and delivery status). Contact notifications are sent privately to Patrick Foundry; community responses retain your publication permission. AI Gap Map notification and waitlist emails include the details you submitted, so a copy is kept in our mailbox, and your confirmation is kept in yours.
Other services.
Product checkout and channel links open services such as Etsy, Payhip, PayPal, Stripe, Printify, Lulu, and YouTube. Their own privacy policies apply there.
